Baggy is the 3rd of 6 children and when he was old enough he left his family to seek his fortune. He eventually settled in Quaalsten where he built a hobbit hole of his own. Baggy is a homebody and does not travel much at all. He loves to sit in the tavern or in his shop and drink ale and smoke his pipe.

Baggy's greatest adventure occured when he traveled into the land of Ket with Eldrik and Chip. Baggy still tells tall tales about that trip to his very day. Baggy is a good burgler but mainly uses his skills as a spy for the Rangers of the Vesve. Baggy is not fond of adventuring, but his love of the forest and his home pushes him to help the rangers against the evil forces of Iuz.

Baggy is the proprietor of a small pipe and tobacco emporium in Quaalsten and imports many oddities from far-away lands. His clientele is mainly other hobbits, but there are a few humans who come for the exotic blended tobaccos. Baggy claims that the once sold a pipe to the famed Morkenkainen... But this has never been proven.
